Come one, come all! The Purple Bellflower Tong will be hosting an authentic evening of Elwynn peasant and Dai Lo folk entertainment, the Rooster Ring and the Grasshopper Gambit. For those unaware of these common practices among the working man, we at the Tong will provide you a short summary of how it works:

    There will be two rounds:

    The Round of the Rooster
Said to originally been practised by Westfall farmers, the act of Rooster-fighting has spread throughout the land and has notable success in the villages and hamlets of Elwynn Forest. Two proud Roosters will be pitted against one another, one black, one white - there can only be one winner!

    The Round of the Grasshopper
The farming province of Dai Lo saw a wave of crickets. locusts and grasshoppers in the summer time. A blight on the crop land, the early Dai Lo farmers would do their upmost to remove them from the land. Until one night, where two heavily intoxicated Pandaren, took the grasshoppers that they had capture prior and pitted the small insects against one another. It soon turned into a tradition, a game that many spectated. The Purple Bellflower Tong now seek to share this culture with the Alliance - and it's a game not to be mocked, Grasshopper-fighting is a sport heavily invested by those of the Wandering Isle.

I think it's a great idea - But it didn't seem to go so well after the first round in Stormwind. People got bored and just left after they saw what it was all about. It's a great idea and I can't understand why people got bored of it.
I think we need to add some more flavor to it. Some other attraction!
Oh, and I think the current location will invite plenty of unwanted guests. Perhaps Westbrook Garrison would do? It's a long trip, but you can always say that we have rented gryphons and people can use them to come and go.

It also seems a bit... cruel. It's not in the chicken's nature to fight another chicken to the death. That, and seeing innocent things die when they have no inclination to kill each other beyond the spectator's amusement, it seems a bit unnatural.

On the contrary, these creatures don't die through this.

And Roosters are all about dominance, they fight for such!
